RECEPTIONIST: We have one part-time position responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, typing, and performing related office duties.
Hours will be:
Tuesday, Thursday 4:30 pm-8:00 pm and Saturday 1:00 pm-8:00 pm
Will be required to have the ability to lift 50lbs.
$8.75/hr.

Title: Receptionist
Responsible to: Administrative Assistant
Objective: Under the direct supervision of the Administrative Assistant, works at the front desk, answering the phone, welcoming visitors and doing clerical work as time allows, striving to give a favorable impression to all those who come to HDC/RC or contact the center in any way.
Duties:

Treat participants/residents with dignity and respect.

Answers telephones promptly and takes messages for all employees.

Receives visitors cordially.

Ensures all visitors sign in.

Ensures compliance with safety protocol.

Operates intercom.
-
Distributes paychecks.

Type correspondence

Prepares outgoing mail for pickup.

Coordinates the ordering of HDC forms for the Residential Center and maintains a list of all forms currently in use.

Makes revisions to existing forms and/or creates new ones as directed.

Keeps informed of meetings and tour schedules.

Attends In-service meetings.

Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled.

Follows HIPAA and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications:
Knowledge and Abilities:
Computer experience desirable
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to meet employment requirements (i.e. health screening, TB test)
Ability to use computer to navigate and enter information into web-based software and perform basic functions related to computer use (i.e. keyboarding, email, data entry)
Ability to understand and follow the policies and procedures of HDC
Training and Experience:
Two years’ experience as a receptionist preferred
