Daily Discovery Mentor

As a Daily Discovery Mentor, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising activities for individual and group programming. This position also includes providing personal care to individuals when needed. You will help participants achieve their everyday goals in a fun and supportive work environment with no weekends or holidays.

Starting wage: $15.00/hr

Schedule: 7:30am-4pm Monday-Friday

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Treat everyone with dignity and respect*
• Develop and implement functional, age-appropriate, skill building activities*
• Maintain records of each participant’s goals, progress, and services provided*
• Assist participants with personal care, hygiene needs, and eating as needed*
• Drive agency and/or personal vehicle for community integration activities*

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
